Regional capital, is a World Patrimony City. It is an open museum. It offers regular cultural activities, as well as sport ones and an active day and night life.

Estremoz, Borba, Vila Viçosa, Redondo, Portalegre, Alter-do-Chão, Arraiolos are all around Evoramonte and are interesting places to visit and to discover traditional taspestry, embroidery, cork artefacts, archeologic places, monuments, antiques shops, horse dressing and many other things.

“Rota do Vinho” (Wine way), “Rota dos Sabores” (Tastes way), “Rota do Mármore” (Marble way) are possibilities to discover the excellent local wines cheeses and the rich and typical local gastronomy, as well as the marble extraction.
